Singapore
Michelin star food stalls, durian smoothies for the culinarily brave, skyscrapers next door to traditional homes, colorful neon trees, and of course the refreshing Singapore sling with a view.
Taiwan
There is no easy way to describe Taiwan. You could live here for months and still not figure it out (at least, that’s what happened to me). Taiwan is full mysteries for most travelers. It will surprise you. All. The. Time. And just when you are brave enough to order your breakfast with your best attempt at Mandarin, you may fail and kindly be handed a cup of ice. (I tried.)
